Team Broward President- John Smythers
Eliot is an experienced South Florida fastpitch
softball coach, and brings years of head coaching expertise to
our High School team. Eliot has tournament and travel experience in
multiple programs, and is renowned for his knowledge and his

Level 1 Certified
Rick coached in Cooper City and has been involved in South
Florida softball for years. He has a daughter on the 12U team
and his enthusiastic and supportive coaching is a great addition

Assistant Coach- 16U- John O'Neill- ASA ACE
Level 1 Certified
John has coached recreational and travel softball in Davie
for many years, and assisted Mr. Smythers at the Gold Coast
Hurricanes, and in Team Broward's first seasons with the 16's
and the 14's. John and his family live in Davie, and John, a
Miami Hurricane, brings a lifetime of sports experience to
